Everything I’ve learned about labubu is against my will, and I will never never ever ever ever understand the hysteria. Just another strata laying itself above the funkos and the fidget spinners in the Anthropocene landfill. If you were hysterical about these fried beetles?? I get it

Finally getting this “Light In The Darkness” 8x10 reprinted - this painting was done in the depths of 2021 when I really needed something to center myself when recovering from surgery gone VERY wrong. Hard to imagine now, but feralcatbox.com/store if you need a little light in your life. #artprint

Infinite sardine head spell in watercolor and gouache. 🐟🐟🐟🐟

Super springy and summery feeling with these queen lime zinnias and squash blossoms from a couple summers ago - a flower you do NOT want to freehand draw on, I assure you. I will never get tired of black snakes weaving through tattoos. #tattoos

I remember when I first did this, it hit the Explore page on IG - huge amounts of comments about how disgusting this was (as a roach, I mean yes, polarizing choice) and sexist comments about how a woman could do this to themselves. Not a single comment was like this from my actual followers 🧵

Two day session of linework for this full leg piece! I keep telling myself to “simplify my tattoos” and it increasingly appears impossible. #shediditthehardway #tattooing

Been looking back on my archive: In a way, my largest Torchbearer tattoo, and certainly my oldest - finished back in 2014/15 (I think!?) several lifetimes ago, but the image has always been rattling around in my brain. Still remains one of my largest b&g tattoos to this day! #illustration #tattoo

I don’t know how these can become MORE relevant but everyday is a new horizon of horror.

Coverups are always a fun challenge, but I do take pride and always honored to cover a tattoo done by a jerk (or in this case, JK Rowling) - crouching mean lil junco torchbearer bird.

Year of the Really Big Snake and unreal looking (but very real) chrysanthemums. Drawing this leg sleeve directly onto my client takes hours, but I used stencils for the centers of the chrysanthemum. This wraps almost fully around the leg! Lining took ~8 hours. #tattoo #illustration #art

This first half hour of this documentary is really speedrunning to Jonestown with hilarious sweeping generalities.

When you’ve renovated a house, and have a partner with museum level drywall skill - staying at airbnbs is borderline intolerable unless you can make a game of finding the worst DIY job in the place. (A nearly 5 star reviewed place somehow?)

Been such a sweet group of clients for my guest spot in Baltimore at Transmission Tattoo - love a city that gets shit on regularly from outsiders but has a deep (weirdo) pride. An American Dipper Torchbearer (a new bird to me!) #art #tattoos #birders

Some really goopy tuna eyeballs that didn’t get much air time last year, I made a LOT of work in a push to fill out two gallery shows and forgot to show the internet - gouache and watercolor on paper, about 9”x12”

Stencil for a new fun and weird one! Will be done with 3 colors only in a more “traditional” style (if I can keep myself under control).

My painting “Heads Or Tails” for Moleskine Project XII @spoke-art.com in San Francisco - you can see my piece and a ton of other really talented people at Minnesota Street Project until January 25th! Painted with pencil and gouache.

It’s me, on my umpteenth social media network trying to promote my artwork - but losing the will everyday. So, uh I made this enamel pin? #pingame
