Just to clarify Brown University didn't take it over, Lifespan (which owns RIH and Hasbro) changed its name to Brown University Health. They are two distinct entities, they have an affiliation in terms of doctors and some funding.

If 16 (and sometimes younger) is old enough to have a baby and be a parent, I think its old enough to know what your gender is

When it comes to "children" we are really talking about Puberty Blockers. Puberty blockers literally delay puberty to give a young person time to figure things out. They’re safe, reversible, and have no permanent effects if stopped. I have never heard of anyone younger than 16 on HRT

HRT is often a required step before accessing surgery. Back when I got top surgery, insurance wouldn’t even consider it until I’d been on hormones for a minimum of 12 months.

Some trans people don’t even want surgery. So what, they shouldn’t be allowed hormones either? That’s what’s actually cruel. Of course you’re fine ‘waiting on it all’ you’re not a trans person. You don’t live this reality. Know your place.

The reason for AuDHD increasing is due to better understanding of it and expansion of diagnostic criteria as well as general awareness and reducing stigma. Particularly for folks AFAB. It doesn't indicate a problem it indicates progress.
