This is how it feels after getting on RedNote

My new year goal has been to write daily to build a habit. So far, the writing has been about how I am too tired to write. It's something at least.

Me: *knocking on close office door*
Boss: "Who is it?"
Me: "It's meeeeeeeEEEEEE SO IF YOU CARE TO FIND ME LOOK TO THE WESTERN SKY..."

Wish there was an app that could crawl our old photo reels and replace our exes with Pedro Pascal. Someone should get on that. They could make bank with an app like that!

Sometimes I just have to stop and process the fact that a good chunk of my patients are younger than my parents (I work in geriatrics).

I have lived in San Diego County for THREE YEARS and today was the first time a tamale lady came to MY door instead of me trying to actively track one down in a random parking lot. It is a very good day. I hope she comes by every week!

I am way too introverted to deal with the amount of errands on my to-do list today. Send caffeine and prayers.

Husband: *cooking pepperonis on stove*
Me: *reaches for one*
Husband: "You know that's hot."
Me: *barehanded grabs one* *pops in mouth* *zero fucks given*

One of the best parts of my hike yesterday were the handfuls of acorns that I could scoop up and clack together to make fun sounds and also throw at my husband's butt. Which weirded out other hikers, but it brought me glee!

Volcan Mountain I think is the most scenic and gorgeous hike I have done since moving to San Diego area. We ascended via Five Oaks Trail which gives a lot more scenery for only 1/4 mile extra distance. Worth it! A good fall/winter hike!
