Here for the “town square”. Philly sports, and news. Work in tech. Probably won’t post much.
Besides “… Brad Lidge struck him out. The phiilies are world champions of baseball”.

Of course.

I was sitting in right field, about halfway up the lower section for this. I knew it the second he made contact that he’d just won the game. My favorite Phillies moment, live aor otherwise.

I have hard cover of 4 of the 7 and old paperbacks of the other 3.

My son is about the age I was when I first read book one. This thread has prompted me to suggest it be his next read.

He doesn’t share my love of sci-fi (yet) so he’s balked at my suggestion he read Asimov.

Some people, man. Love bluesky, as I will never have to see a post by that user again. Smh. Don’t need “angry online” in my life.

Bye bye

Gotcha! I did a google search after posting. I would have been very surprised.

I love the artwork in my hardcover. $1,000 for an out of print of all the artwork makes much more sense to me.

Wait, wut? This is $1,000 or the whole series?

That’s awesome.

And GO BIRDS!!

Love it. Question: Where do you get that sweatshirt? All I ever find are screen printed kelly green. I want a nice, quality stitched on logo.

Send a double. No one digging down on that loose back to basket dribble. Let’s see if he can diagnose and distribute. But letting him casually back down a player half a foot shorter than him seems like a bad idea? Teams send 2 or 3 at Embiid when he gets it at the nail.

What we have now is the natural conclusion of Citizens United. He purchased the Presidency.

Can it get worse? What else could possibly go wrong? I know, they finish with the 3rd worst record and 4 teams jump them. That’s the cherry on top.

Sooooooo…… the general assumption here is: For a claim to be denied an actual doctor ordered the procedure, no?

I know to the proton therapy machines for cancer treatment are ~$10 million machines (that estimate is almost a decade old at this point). They require extensive shielding for the radiation. They build “vaults” to house the machines in order to protect other humans in the facility.

Womp womp. Ignore 👆as the text likely references an epilepsy treatment. Not proton therapy cancer treatment.

Next time I’ll read not skim. Promise.

Cool. Appreciate the follow-up. Should I delete my evidence of lack of remedial reading skills…? 🫠

I will admit wondering when I read it… wtf l the laser reference. I just saw proton therapy and banged out a skeet.
December 6, 2024 at 4:17 PM
That said, the link says nothing about proton. I was confused by the incorporation of the word “laser” in proton laser therapy. Proton therapy typically refers to this. www.mayoclinic.org/tests-proced...

No lasers. Either way. Stop denying claims.

Thank you.

Doh, I missed the “for a kid with seizures”. Proton therapy is cancer treatment. I am now not sure of the imagined treatment being referred to here based on the seizures bit.

Disclaimer I am not a doctor. Not sure how proton therapy is relevant to seizure unless it’s a brain tumor.
December 6, 2024 at 4:05 PM
Instead of saying “Dr prescribed cancer treatment for a child”. But we’re just parsing words here. Nothing to see, move along.

I hate the whole current timeline. The Sixers aren’t helping.
