"the device every conqueror, yes, every altruistic liberator should be required to wear on his shield... is a little girl and her kitten, at ground zero." Poul Anderson
I had to click on the video to watch the full size but the quality was fine. At least as good as the other place.

The voice of reason.
We've had plenty of female rulers in history.
They've been the same mixed bag as the men.

52,800 years (approx),
sadly it feels longer.

I hope this means you've had such an experience.

If possible make note of the date, name and incident (last two most important). Years later it will still make your heart glow.

My nephews were involved in disaster relief during flooding in '18, there were lots of rules specifically to keep people, rescuers and rescuees, safe.

I like rules too, one of the first phrases my son learnt was "proper health and safety procedures".

Having spent long periods unemployed I remain baffled how some good workers struggle to get jobs while terrible ones practically have the red carpet rolled out when they go to interviews.

Ah yes, the age old battle between our need for 💰
and our need for ⌚.

I hope you can soon find a job that you can work around your other commitments.

Good luck with Chef interview.

Shalom. Thank you for the list of sources.

This was part of a thread that seems to have been deleted, there was a video by Mayim Bialik on Channukah so I've already looked that up.

Take care.

A Psych like that is worth more than his weight in gold. Really glad he's willing to speak up for you.

While listening I realized I've known this song for decades but never listened to the whole song.

Thanks for sharing, enjoyed it.

This thread has gone way of the original point, I hope you get good advice for your interview.

I really need to sleep and wish you a pleasant evening.

Good night

An experience you might find funny.
After 3/4 therapist meetings I was ⤵️. Therapist wanted to put me in to see a Psych.
IF is in one chair, I'm in other.
IF: I want him to go but he doesn't want to, who gets to make the choice?

Therapists face as she pointed to the empty chair was hilarious.

When I went to therapy in '16 I'd no IF to advocate for me, the whole thing got sidetracked by SA stuff, it was traumatic. After a few sessions I stopped going. I don't blame them.

Last two years has been a really supportive team. My IF helps but their attitude is excellent too.

Ah, Bullying, yeah.
That's not actually my earliest memory but when I go to my earliest memory that's it.

Honestly, I'll give anything a try. I grew up in a family that didn't want to segregate music into warring bands. Whether I'll like a individual tune or song depends but I'll try anything.

Unfortunately I don't remember names which can be embarrassing.
December 11, 2025 at 4:07 AM
Actually, as you've reminded me this is all public scrub the last question. (Beyond any bare bones you're comfortable sharing, nothing else).
December 11, 2025 at 4:05 AM
These are things I share publicly.

There's plenty of stuff I don't.
December 11, 2025 at 4:03 AM
Thank you. The diagnosis and healing is always so much easier on TV.

May I ask, are you still going to therapy now?
December 11, 2025 at 4:02 AM
Thank you, it's not voluntary.

It really is NOT voluntary.

It's locked as in can't move, brain frozen but buzzing, involuntary twisting or turning. Not fun.

But I'm really glad you were inspired to do more research, there really is so much to learn and benefit from in the Scriptures.

I can't even read the above, start losing control again. My first few sessions my Imaginary Friend had to do a lot of talking with different therapists until I was put with my Psych. He's dealt with all my ... I We don't know what we are.

I've tried to be open and honest cause we need to heal.
December 11, 2025 at 3:55 AM
Agree totally.
December 11, 2025 at 3:51 AM
(Please imagine each key pressed slowly, heavily and with great blushing).
Cascada because Every Time we Touch is one of the songs me and my Imaginary friend sing to each other.

Ahem, but I like a lot of other music including Russian and Israeli folk music as my parents ran a folk dance club.
