BBC's reporting of DeepSeek is amusing at best - it's only popular because it's free, though not good, but a lot of people are finding it actually quite good, and that's a worrying thing.

Some people are saying, don't call it Chinese New Year. Look, the proper term's Spring Festival anyway. And I'm going to keep on calling it Chinese New Year, because that's what lunar new year means to pandas. That's NOT the same as claiming that lunar new year must be Chinese.
