not sure if im alone in this but i feel like playing a sonic game is like playing a rhythm game. you need to learn to recognize patterns in level design, and memorizing/reacting to and pulling off more difficult paths will result in higher rewards

You know i used to not like the SA1 versions of each characters themes as compared to their SA2 versions (and i will absolutely admit its the nostalgia that has shaped my taste) but sonics theme has grown on me quite a bit recently

i love Shadow having this almost electric-esque visible chaos energy. It makes sense for him specifically to have it instead of someone like Sonic

Sonic is natural, the wind
Shadow is artificial, so chaos energy like electricity fits imo

I can see why people dont like the chaos island act 1 remix but honestly i feel like its an aquired taste in the form of music
