things get tricky when you consider that likely a large chunk of the regular devs at the company (or any company for that matter) dont agree with what the higher ups are doing and saying, and by not supporting them you end up inconveniencing normal people trying to keep a job in a horrible market

Of course I would prefer if they didnt do it at all, but if the voice actors agree to it, get paid fairly for it, and the models are only being trained on them, thats much more ethical than whatever any other company is doing with it

The way I understood it (at least for the finals, not sure about arc raiders) is that it was only used for the announcers, with the ai being trained specifically on the voice actors, and they get continuously paid for it. Could be wrong, thats just what ive heard and read
