Cat, I'm supposed to be cleaning. How dare you snuggle up against me while I'm laying on my bed looking at my phone instead of cleaning, thus trapping me and preventing me from the cleaning I was definitely going to do.

I shouldnt need to watch asmr every night in order to sleep but here we are. Relied on it so much over the past couple years that now if I just go to sleep like a normal human being it I see it as rawdogging my sleep 😭

If they take you setting a boundary personally, if they view it as an attack or an unfair burden on them-- that's a "them" issue. Don't let them leverage shame & self-doubt to make it a "you" issue.

My favorite thing about JWST images is all the little spots and smudges in the background (the ones without diffraction spikes) — they’re all distant galaxies 🤩
