I'm a retired Police Sergeant from South Florida. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs during the 60s 70s. Married my high school sweetheart and we moved to Florida in 1984. Retirement is awesome. Not enough hours in a day to do all the things we want to do.

Joe Lieberman was the deciding vote to kill "Medicare for All" during Obama's first term. Lieberman got huge contributions from the healthcare companies. Those are just the tip of the iceberg. How much more can the working class people take? We are dying every day out here.

Our government is doing nothing to rein in our out of control health insurance companies. On the contrary, they are getting rich from them. Rick Scott, the former Governor of Florida and a current US senator, got rich by ripping off Medicare for Millions.
