I was watching Tora, Tora, Tora with my in laws and there’s a point in the movie where the Japanese characters start talking in English, where previously they were speaking in Japanese with subtitles. I was so high I thought I could suddenly understand Japanese and announced so out loud. Amazing 🤦♀️

Seems like this decision to erase certain debts and liens was made back in September. NBC is reporting it again now due to the media buzz around the issue, but it’s not directly related to the killing.

The hospital system will remove liens placed on patients' homes for medical debt. Some date back 20 years.
