You would really think! When I tell people what it actually entails, it basically blows their minds that someone can eschew meat *and* dairy at the same time?? Like bro, vegan cheese has come a long way and tbh most humans are some level of lactose intolerant anyway

Most of it boils down to people thinking vegan and vegetarian are interchangeable. The thing is that part of the reason I’m vegan is food allergies so this mistake isn’t like, a small whoops lol. But it should be respected either way!
