He had zero sense of irony
a) he literally quoted his idea that only one religion kills to justify Israel's war crimes,
and
b) he was so annoyed that I did not care to 'discuss' or defend my "beliefs" against the "facts" he was sharing.

For context, this happened in Kochi in Kerala, India.

Fair enough, I guess. By then, I was just too disgusted with the whole experience. And I deactivated my profile and uninstalled the app. What really struck me in this conversation though was this line he sent: "Sorry! Killing for religion is only done by only one set, because it is set so 🙏🏼" 5/6

I was stunned. I was still sitting in the heaviness from the reading. And I just could not engage. I told him I didn't want to talk to him any more because of his extreme views, and blocked him. He straightaway went to our Bumble chat cos he wanted the last word. 4/6

The moment I messaged about the Gaza reading, the chat derailed. First, he went on about 'who started the recent problem' and 'fanatics' and full-blown Islamophobia in less than 5 messages! 3/6

He had passed my bullshit-check on Bumble and we were chatting on WA at this point. Co-parenting, taking life slow, growing his own vegetables, going to dance & movement classes... he seemed to be an ok person to talk to. 2/6
