That's the one, though I would say that it's been obvious for at least a season and change that he really does believe he's some sort of aggrieved heroic figure and needs others to see him that way. It seems like the episode follows up on that by setting into stone some extreme resentment.

This short form character study of the Gul Dukat character was incredible. A lot of payoff to things we already kinda knew about him and it moves the character forward in the most natural direction in a very dramatic way

Maybe he died due to age and poor health compounding on each other. Maybe. But it wasn't helped by the frequent discharge attempts
