These trout are trout stocked freshly from the hatchery, so they tend to be a little dumb and easy to catch. So it’s easy to catch so many in one sitting sometimes. More naturalized trout or wild trout you don’t often catch nearly that many

Oh yeah. I usually kick him with my net before he does tho lol. One time I caught a minnow and he gulped it like a sardine

My record I think is like probably 40-50 but at that point I stop counting. It was actually in the same river these trout were caught in downstream from the park, last year. It was a blast. Hoards of holdover stocker trout and nobody around. Haven’t had a day like that since
