she gets the same hand + speech bubble icon that the other NPC room people get but like I said, I'm not sure if I did something to unlock her or not

Circe! she's top-side in area 2, not sure how you unlock her

honestly it's entirely on me, I am awful at dodging AoEs/damage zones

Thoughts as of first clear:
- Combat is a blast, def took some adjustment but I think the overhaul keeps the gameplay fresh
- Adding alternate paths/a whole second branch works, helps ablate the "running into a wall" feeling that can happen on those bad runs
- this game got wifes in it!!!!!!!!
