Did you know that Nintendo had a Direct before a Direct was an online concept?
Nintendo Power, their magazine arm, set this up in Toy & Dept Stores in the #90s
They had a kiosk, with a laserdisc and a SNES w/ cart powering this all. Changed every quarter.

I remember playing this as a teen at my grocery store in the early 2000s. Never having enough credits to finish, either...which was agony.
I wish the lightguns were calibrated better, but I managed to get it all sorted out.

I remember being able to play Time Crisis 3 for cheap at the University Arcade in the 2000s. Sadly I never was able to get too far cause I always ran short of change.
The weapon select system in this makes it SO much more fun. Wish Grenades popped up more often XD

Yes and no; this is the original Metal Slug 2, and it is known for HORRID slowdown in many spots. Metal Slug X is basically 2 with much less lag and things moved around (Aliens being shown earlier) Learned the differences from @murphagator.bsky.social

I've seen this in many places, and I finally took the time to complete it. There was a slight problem with shooting detection on the far left, so I had to adapt.
Carnevil is a fun and goofy shooter from Midway. I adore it.
