At Dallas county all day Sacred Harp singing.

I'm attending a folklore festival this weekend. This type of singing as in this video - with overlapping, repeating phrases and harsh, dissonant intervals - is my jam.

I'm having a cold beetroot soup-flavored beer. While it does not have all the nuances of cold beetroot soup, it does taste like beets.

It took a visit to Germany for me to have a chance to sing from Shenandoah Harmony. And it was in this unique wooden church on the outskirts of Bremen.

After the main singing was over for the day, a small group of us got together outside we the church to try the Valley Pocket Harmonist! We made an impromptu hollow square from benches:
