The military is supposed to be free of politics. Once corruption and fear controls the military you are fully emerged in a fascist regime. Only the military can rescue this or it’s all over for US democracy.

Even with this war Europe will never learn that a rapid response in days not weeks is the most important deterrent. Drones will undoubtedly change this but will never replace high quality boots on the ground
