The Gorge is a ton of fun. Really dug the world building. The romantic chemistry was such a breath of fresh air. Enjoyed it so so much. See it in some deep dark cavern with big projection and loud as hell speakers

Went to Bob’s Big Boy for lunch out of love for David Lynch.
Sat at the counter and met many others doing the same thing. Some were fans getting coffees + shakes. Others were colleagues who shared their favorite Lynch diner stories. A truly magical moment needed during a dark time for this city.

So in short, without Everything Everywhere All At Once, I’m not sure if I would’ve figured out and eventually made Things Will Be Different. It’s one of the most influential movies of my life and one of the best movies ever made.

But the reason why EEAAO is my favorite of 2022 is that it’s THE movie that kicked off me making Things Will Be Different. I showed EEAAO to my dad knowing he’d love it. We then talked about it over coffee for hours, which then led me breaking the story of TWBD with him for another hour after.

Showed the wife Happy Gilmore for her first time and man did it play just as well for her as it did for me 25+ years ago. Still hilarious. One of the great comedy screenplays of our generation.

Watched all 3 LOTR movies extended cuts while eating homemade Hobbit scheduled meals throughout (Breakfast, 2nd Breakfast, Elevnsies, etc.). Seriously one of the best movie days of my life.
