"YOU CAN HAVE MY BOOK WHEN YOU PRY IT FROM MY COLD, DEAD HOOVES!" Rude Cow
It's been proven that all of this scrolling is causing us to lose our ability to focus on anything long enough to determine truth from fiction. Read a book, your brain will thank you.

The sadness I felt when I discovered these dolls was intense --what poor child had to give up her dolls?
If this post connects with you on some level, even if it's fear. I have been successful. This art was created from dolls found in mud near an abandoned home. I adopted them.

Today's Poetry Reading: the last phrase of Percy Bysse Shelly
"The Masque of Anarchy" Aug 18,1819 during the Peterloo Massacre.

‘Rise like Lions after slumber
In unvanquishable number,
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you –
Ye are many – they are few.’

I am the dormant volcano.
Beneath my social layers churn
a cathexis of smoldering desire
—moving from brain to body to soul.
I am a being consumed, burning,
set for a heap of ashes.

Yet there is more…
