Felixstowe Town Council is pleased to have received daffodil bulbs under the East Suffolk Blooms campaign.

The Grounds Team will plant the bulbs across the Town Council's parks and Cemetery in preparation for the spring.

A civic delegation, including the Mayor of Felixstowe, attended Hansefest in Wesel, Germany - Felixstowe's twin town. Hansefest celebrates the Medieval history and culture of the town.

The delegation were generously welcomed by Bürgermeisterin Ulrike Westkamp.

On Thursday 16 October, the Wesel Scout Group were welcomed to Felixstowe Town Hall for breakfast, symbolising the continuity of the town twinning relationship between Wesel and Felixstowe.

The Mayor of Felixstowe will host her Christmas Carol Service at St Mary's Church on 12 December from 4:30pm.

Collection will be taken for the Mayor's charities, St Philip's Community Hub and Felixstowe Opportunity Group. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Tickets are now on sale for the Mayor's Charity Murder Mystery Evening. The Curious Case of the Waxwork Child will be performed exclusively in support of St Philip's Community Hub and Felixstowe Opportunity Group on 8 November at Felixstowe Conservative Club.

The gates will be open, allowing access to the Cemetery Road, at the following times:

1 May – 30 September: 8.30am – 8.00pm
1 October – 30 April: 8.30am – 4.00pm

Aligning the access road opening times with Cemetery hours will support future works, including the planned extension of facilities.

From 1 October 2025, the access road to Felixstowe Cemetery via Langley Avenue will be closed in line with the Cemetery’s daily opening hours. This measure will help manage the site more effectively as the Town Council works towards planned improvements.
