To confirm: Grace Darling is incredibly well known in the North East, her story is taught in our primary schools around Year 1 / Year 2.

Really quite surprising that she’s not so well known elsewhere…!!!

I mean, who doesn’t want to see more of Yaz, Dan & Jericho’s Adventures in Time…?

Of course none of that is true! This is a delightful little story, moving all our pieces into place for the Grand Finale, while taking the time to give us a potted history of UNIT & prod The Doctor’s backstory.

Bright, beautiful and brilliant - it’s possibly the funniest Flux of all.

But the worst Doctor Who story OF ALL TIME.

Poorly sketched characters, weak plotting, a pathetic attempt at humour, and effects that would shame early Babylon 5.

An unmitigated DISASTER…!!!

Disc wise there’s not much extra here, just the Behind The Sofa. The Making Of ported over from the DVD is half Curse & Half Monster so it’s an oddly incomplete one. The scrub up the BluRay has given the story though is phenomenal - it’s proper gorgeous!!!

What a difference a few weeks makes too. We’ve gone from “I may keep you gagged so you don’t ask me any fool questions” to Jo bossing the show & taking the piss out of the Doctor’s flying skills. There’s SO much charm between the two here - THIS is the 3rd Doctor I fell in love with as a nipper!

Jemma & Sacha were wonderfully generous with their time & attention, both chatted for ages - Jemma is VERY enthusiastic about War Between & Sacha loved reminiscing about The Last Train as well as the inspiration for his Master.

Luca didn’t want to chat to Costas much but he was still lovely 😊
