That’s amazing. How do you feel about the royalty splits of today versus those of the 1970s?? The numbers are incomparable and I could only imagine the impact on the artists when we were hit with the digital era. You’ve experienced both eras of music as an indie artist/writer.

Correct. Artists are growing without major labels (some have teams and others signed to independent labels). Globally, indie artists are discovering the DIY approach and learning to self-release and self-promote their music in order to maintain creative control and connect directly with a fan base.
