Or a subject called something like Requirements Engineering, which sounds very difficult and technical, but is just “asking people what they want.” And you only need to learn that indirectly, because talking to customers is something a product manager does for you. You get to type code all day long!

However, coding entails much more! If I say "I'm writing a book", it is clear to most people that I don't just mean typing on the keyboard, but also planning, deleting, and rereading. How come programming, which is at its core similar to writing, is seen so much more narrow?

Het zware denkwerk is al gedaan en dan doorlezen en ondertussen vertalen is een goede manier om wat kritischer te kijken naar wat er staat (dus hopelijk ook minder tikfouten).
