Even though these days I wouldn't know an ablative of means or manner if it bit me by way of the behind. (Latin dad-joke courtesy of my dad).

I went to a Canadian school where at least one year of Latin was compulsory, w/ a lot of focus on derivatives- tracing Latin vocab through other languages. Made my understanding of grammar much better and it's been totally invaluable to me as a non-clinician working in the health system.
