I let the wild raspberry in my front yard get extra big so I could take cuttings and dip them in rooting compound. My hope is to make my backyard a tasty paradise for wildlife.

Spending time this morning making biscuits and gravy and reflecting on the need to create a writing ritual for myself to help my brain focus. I feel like I waste a lot of time daydreaming, but are daydreams ever really a waste for creatives? Can I count it as "research"?

I'm lucky enough to have a job that allows me enough free time to snack, daydream, and write for most of the day. I'll definitely need to work on compiling a background music playlist to help me stay focused, though.

I've been doing freelance editing for a few years now so I'm somewhat out of the loop, but it feels strange to hear I should build a writing platform before I even put a story out! Think the best I can manage is doing them simultaneously. #romancelandia

Leaning towards doing an initial release on Kindle Vella for "Baking for the Baron". I've come to love weekly releases of some of my favorite stories, and I'm hoping others will love Thisbe's adventures delivered as a serial, too.

I've been really into reading isekai (portal fantasies) lately, so it's probably not a surprise I'm writing one as my first romance novel. I'm already planning a series, The Summoned Saints, and my first one will involve a baker and the baron who falls in love with her and her food. #romancelandia
