“…which I think is genuinely frightening to any American.”

it’s frightening to some or most Americans,

however, it is dangerous to most,

as well as, dangerous to others around the world.

It’s an indicator of danger to others, a dangerous ideology.

The wild kind that destroy land and property and grow to enormous sizes because they are at the top of their food chain.

Absolutely no one is perfect & we don’t know what’s going to happen after they’re elected. People can change.
The real injustice is that when a life is lost because of these policies/governing entities, there’s no reversing that, like the holocaust.
We keep going, they don’t. They don’t get justice.

Yes because you can’t kill an ideology. We have freedom to choose but we have limited power & knowledge, if you think about it. We don’t know how to fix this issue. As much as those who want power are screwing things up, it’s limited in that the individual or government will eventually die/change.

Anything to deflect (bad) attention to the other side. Always pointing fingers.

The desire to do bad? It’s a choice. It’s always been there.
Generally, people decide they want this, feel entitled to it, & don’t care about laws.
No matter what laws are made/enforced, they still exist. It’s a mode of operation. It’s the reason we have laws but it doesn’t fix the problem, does it?

No. It’s always been brutal & damaging. From large scale conquerors to individuals, like Vlad the Impaler. We get world news a lot quicker than back in the day but study world history in depth & you’ll find lots of brutal & damaging events & rulers.
And there’s always been a struggle to stop them.

I was about to say the same thing! Something about the weather changing gets them frisky.

Break it down in steps and move forward when there’s progress.

It’s fun but not necessary for the cats to do this.

One of my 5 cats has never been interested in it at all but she’s extremely sensitive.

And be careful near trees! They can jump and climb fast! 😂😅

If there’s no fuss, you can put a leash on and open the door to see if he’s ready.
If he is, then hold on to the leash and just go for 2-3 minutes.
Etc.
He’s young. He might be open to it by curiosity.
Tug the harness with a firm “no” if he goes too fast, in the wrong direction, eats bad grass, etc.

Try putting it on him first. Some cats don’t complain at all.
If he does, then lay the harness where he can see it, smell it, lay on it.
Try putting it on him just once a day without the leash. Take it off if there’s a fuss.
When there’s less fuss, leave it on without a leash for a couple minutes.

I have a cat who tries to get behind the drawer, like he knows there’s space behind it.
