It's such a lovely feeling to be a part of a creative team that works so hard to help a fellow artist realize their vision for themselves. Doing so with a group of some of the most talented people is something I've always yearned for and finally found. 1/4

20 years now since the death of Mitch Hedberg. I was the Assistant Director on his film Los Enchiladas, and in turn he played a part in my short film Linda California. RIP Mitch, you were the coolest cat I ever met in comedy—and I’ve met plenty of funny f*ckos.

The great Marty Callner has passed. He just about directed every stand up of note not to mention his live/video music work. Marty literally invented the genre of the comedy special. My heart goes out to his lovely wife Aleeza and their family.

The night I got my name up on the wall of the Comedy Store after becoming a regular. I think I was 22. That might be a Long Island Iced Tea in my hand. I don’t recommend those at all.

I have been a big defender of Joe Rogan till about a year ago. I myself grew up on welfare/food stamps and the most questionable people on this planet are those who enable the cruelest of us to run roughshod over the weakest of us while they pull up the ladder behind themselves. #snap #GOP

I had a fantastic time last night at Ritch Shydner’s History of Stand-Up Comedy Show! It was great seeing old friends and some of the funniest people in the business thirst for more and more stories during Ritch’s Q&A after the show about the groundbreaking comedians who stood on stage before us.
