Murder in an archeological dig. Locked room mystery.

Poirot's involvement came late in the tale. Lots of period racism/sexism that bothered me. I liked the perspective of the narrator.

A fun little bit of backstory for The Fugitive Doctor. I love this character so much. I want more from her.

I definitely plan to check out the comic series featuring this intriguing character.

The Eastwoods run a pub. Weekly quiz gets intense. A body is discovered. A team is cheating at the quiz. Wait, there's more.

Told in an epistolary style. Engrossing, complex, mysterious. I loved the twists in this tale. A wild ride!

100 of 2025. The ABC Murders by Agatha Christie.

A serial killer working his way through the alphabet & taunting Poirot.

A bit different for Poirot. I liked seeing more of Poirot's approach to crimesolving. The little twist surprised me. Captivating read. Poirot is growing on me.

The ladies are back investigating the disappearance of a theatre director after a river cruise.

I adore these characters & their friendship. The 4th book shines with friendship, mystery, and a spot of fun!

On a flight, one of Poirot's fellow passengers died of an apparent wasp sting. Questions arise, but everyone was in sight of someone else during the death window. Can Poirot sort it?

Full of gossip, intrigue, and mystery. A fun read!

Pulled into the mystery quickly. The audio is amazing. Creepy story. I want more from Sarah & Gordon.

The Dresden Files is a favorite of mine, and I discovered I had somehow missed these.

From silly to sad to heartwarming, these small tales highlight the heart of the series!

Annie & friends go to a book fair & to confront Scarlet's killer. A death occurs during a tech demo & Annie is recruited to help.

A death at a dinner party with no identifiable motive. Was it murder? Mr. Satterthwaite and Hercule Poirot are among the guests.

What a fun read! Delightful characters & a complicated mystery. Read this one!

Translated from French. A fascinating, detailed exploration of the witch as a sign of female rebellion and the resulting misogyny.

Parts of it were a hard read due to current events but worth it. Informative and thought provoking.

Shifting from Sadie's view to her character, Jaylie is seamless.Some aspects of the story I enjoyed & some took me out of the story.Cute, cozy, fun!

Fascinating account of the little known attempt on JFK's life in 1960.

I had no idea this even happened! Engrossing, informative. A portrait of Jackie that was new. A really great read if you're into the JFK Assassination.

I struggled & had to keep reminding myself that Agatha Christie was a product of her time. So much misogyny, racism. I don't like Parker Pyne. He's not a good guy. An odd batch of short stories. Glad to have this one behind me.

Read at the recommendation of a friend. Utterly delightful play about a woman finding herself on an adventurous holiday. It's heartwarming, empowering.

I encourage you to read this one. Tons of heart.

Frances Adam's murder is foretold in 1965 & she spends her life trying to stop it. Her great-niece tries to solve the mystery when Frances is found dead on her estate.

So much fun! I loved it. The transitions were seamless.

The whole town is celebrating Oktoberfest. A documentary about brewing is filming, and the star is found dead.

Sloan can't help trying to suss out who killed Mitchell while she is sorting out her life. Great characters.

A death on the golf course. Cryptic last words. A caddy & a Lady go on an adventure to answer the titular question.

A fun little mystery with characters I liked. I would like to see them again. A fun read.

Utterly engrossing. Milan & his fiancé return to Milan's hometown to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the family motel. Milan's father dies mysteriously.
Milan is compelled to solve the murder. Small town intrigue & family drama.

Cordelia is a ghost & Ruby is living in her apartment. Can the roomies solve a neighbor's murder?

Lighthearted read. The relationships between characters are interesting. Love the ways they try to communicate and the generation gap.

Book club pick. Not my usual genre.

Recounts decades of research on evolution in finches on 1 island in the Galápagos.

Very slow pace. Dense at times. Way more interesting in the last third of the book.

Read if you ❤ science.

So much fun! The PG is on the trail of the villain, Brottac, who is wreaking havoc in their life.

The relationships of these characters is so special. Utterly charming and heartwarming. I want more PG adventures!
