Pretty pleased with this year’s Xmas tree. We put it up late, still enjoying the lushness (but not the daily watering)

Just spotted that the Kārearea has won Aotearoa’s bird of the year. I’ve seen them in the wild but this for me was even more special, outside my window overlooking Te Ngakau Civic Square late Sept 2019

Thought I’d put some colour in my timeline - if only these tulips lasted longer in my garden 🌷
