Made a Google-translate German version of my JV HS baseball team handbook and sent it the Alfeld Greenhorns baseball club. I had to use Google because it is 50 pages and also my German sucks. I caught a few glitches, but sent both English and German versions to them - many speak English quite well.

I had an incredible time this summer working with the Alfeld Greenhorns #Baseball Club in Germany. I was disappointed that my #German didn't return as much as desired, but working with the teams was the experience of a lifetime. Great times on & off the diamond with new friends who love this game.

This might put a dent in the long-standing love affair between CHI & STL fans. I remember visiting my grandparents in So IL in the '50s & listening to the Cards radio network. They controlled a huge area of rabid fans that were basically too far away to attend a home game. Apparently, they still do:

I'm enough of a boomer to expect my MLB team's game on OTA TV. The last decade's MASN BS, with the NATs and Os games held hostage on cable is not the way to grow the game.

In York, PA for the 2nd game of the ALPB North playoff between the Revolution & the Lancaster Stormers. The Stormers hit 2 out in the first inning & lead 2-0 in the middle of the 4th. York leads the best of 5 series 1-0.
