"The loudest person in the room may be concealing deep sadness behind their cheerful facade."

A Real Pain shows us how grief can be overlooked and how coping mechanisms operate. Culkin is born for this character. That last shot at the airport will haunt me for days.

Anora is a raunchy and hilarious sex worker fairytale with a touch of heartbreaking reality. Baker showcases his directing ability in such a profound way. Madison is a true gem. The last 10 mins act will break your heart.

As Larrain closes his "Iconic 20th Century Woman" trilogy with #Maria, I think this is the thinnest of the three. Larrain uses the familiar narrative structure but it’s hard to deny that his films are incredible showcases for actors. Jolie’s brilliance is not to be questioned.

Maybe my expectations are too high for #WeLiveinTime, palpable chemistry between Pugh and Garfield but the back-and-forth plot really messes with the audience's head that makes the two lead actors never really present on screen.

It's really a high-octane battle spectacle from start to finish, but #GladiatorII didn't bring something new, it feels like a remake of its predecessor. Props for the production designer, the rest of the cast is ok, only Washington really delivers and steals the show.

Chu's direction of #WickedMovie is impeccable, he keeps the audience dazzled for almost 3 hours with great pace and editing. The craftsmanship of production and custom design is top-tier quality. Brilliant performance by Erivo, but Grande will make your jaw drop.

A mesmerizing directorial debut by Anna Kendrick, Woman of the Hour is not your typical crime-thriller film. Kendrick proves herself a formidable talent on both sides directing and acting, also she brings a new perceptive take on the genre itself.

A genre-bending picture that blends a lot of genres but doesn't feel too much, Emilia Perez is really innovative. All three lead performances are outstanding for their own portion. Audiard most ambitious work to date. Cinematography and scoring is the highlight.

Coup! is a commentary about class warfare and sociopolitical problems, covered with pandemic situations in the 1918's. A dark-comedy packed with a lot of flavor, suspense, and droll comedy into its slim 97-minute running time. Magnussen steals the show.

An allegory about the corrupting of power and suppression of a religious patriarchy, The Seed of the Sacred Fig is a revolutionary work of art. Rasoulof knows the complexity of the issues but it’s missing from the straightforward obviousness.

A satire about overcome on aging, greed, and self-hatred. The Substance executed with compassion, bringing fresh insights of graphic gore. Fargeat's vision is very clear based on her screenplay. A total bonkers, watching it with a huge crowd is a must.

Sing Sing shows the interplay between Domingo's character as a mentor to fellow prisoners and his own inner struggle. A slice-of-life film that shows us the importance of healing through art. Domingo is a revelation.

Heartbreak Motel really exceeds my expectations for Indonesian drama. Hats off to Visinema for pulling this adaptation out of the park. I can't stop thinking about the plot, script, camerawork, sound design, and scoring. This is Laura Basuki's at her finest.

Longlegs is not your typical horror film, a slow-burn that will crawl under your skin and live there for 100 minutes. Top tier technical aspects from camerawork, editing, and sound design. Brilliant performance by Cage and Monroe. It leaves me breathless and full of dread after the credits roll.

As humans, we all need pure connection between each other, and sometimes unburdening to a stranger is easier than to someone you know. Daddio takes you to that ride, with a brilliant screenplay and two wonderful lead performances. This is Johnson's best performance to date.

"Maybe it's true, when you grow older you'll feel less happy"

9 years after the first installment, Inside Out 2 still gives me the same feeling and shakes me to the core. This is an animation film for adults, a beautiful depiction about growing up and the complexity of human feelings.

Furiosa might not be as epic as Fury Road, but Miller gives us both a masterful storytelling and impeccable filmmaking technique. Taylor-Joy conveys a tremendous performance with little amount of dialogues, but Hemsworth is the one who blows me away with his performance.

Civil War is a cautionary tale that makes us think as a human and society. Provocative and terrifyingly graphic experience that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Kudos for the sound department. Dunst carrying the whole film and Plemons is a scene stealer.

Dua Hati Biru is a decent follow-up from its predecessor Dua Garis Biru, exposing much better complex issues about responsibility and accountability in marriage. Once again, Gina S. Noer delivers a universal family drama that'll leave your heart warm after the credit title rolls.

Challengers is a horny-cinema, and I'm not talking about the sex scenes or chemistry between the characters. The cinematography, dialogues, score, and sequences is lushly. This is the most pleasurable Guadagnino's work to date. #ChallengersMovie

The Fall Guy is so good! I left the theatre smiling, it's been a while since I laughed that hard. A crowd-pleasing action romcom and an ode to filmmaking, especially for stuntman. The chemistry between the lead is wit and palpable, Gosling is a real movie star here. See it on IMAX!!!

The Zone of Interest is an experimental film. Don't go blind if you are willing to see this, you have to get the full context to experience it. I can't stop thinking about it and it might haunt me for days. This is the highest form of cinema.
