I agree that’s it’s not a distraction, I think this is an inflection point for them to ramp up the authoritarian takeover. Out of all the things they have done, I think this is one that will have some of the worst implications for what is to come.

Also just to jump into this conversation, there’s a lot of emerging contaminants used in the cooling water and the computers themselves, water reuse is probably not as straightforward as you are thinking. I think some data centers use some of the newer PFAS in the coolant water.

I study emerging contaminants… we are underfunded, overworked, and most of jobs in the field are being cut. We are not your enemy, there’s a lot of different groups that fall under the stem umbrella, please have some compassion.
