I know the people who are close to me will know that I don't really have a great relationship with most of my family, but I did truly love my uncle. He was one of the good ones.

There was just something so uniquely terrible about knowing that a family member is in the hospital and is not going to survive, and just having to sit around and wait for them to slip away. This is the second family death of that nature this year. Different circumstances, but still.
