Bob Trevino starts out super promising but the male lead’s acting hurts the overall story. It feels like he doesnt connect to the character at all. You can feel him debating how to say a line. The ending ultimately loses momentum and makes the story feel overdramatic.

Sinners is a solid 6/10 for me and Bob Trevino is like a 4/10. When people say Sinners is genre “blending” i have to disagree. It’s disjointed and kind of a mess tonally—doesnt feel blended. Still a fun ride. Weird. But fun.
