Finally finished this sheet! It was a bit of a rush to cut it up, but glad I did. Depth is too shallow atm, feels good to know that I can be quite a bit bolder without risking a blowout

It’s really nice to see (some) improvements in line work on these ones, it’s still a wobbly mess but I had way more consistent depth and speeds, and some lines are actually not shaky?? Wild stuff

Kind of expected that I butchered the shading but I learned a lot in the process! I like to think that packing in the blacks was so difficult because this is cheap fake skin, but let’s be real it’s more likely a skill issue 🌱

The reason why I was very excited to stumble across that fun lil monster helmet prompt from this morning is that it is a perfect practice design for my most recent folly… this is practice skin #2 or #3 so we’ve got a long way to go lmao
