yea this is kinda true- the only issue i ever have is when i accidentally bump one of my base stations when im walking back into my room and even then, it takes less than 30 seconds to recalibrate them if they dont sync before i put my headset on

yeah it sucks the way things are going, i was really hoping for the option for both but im pretty sure they wanted to keep it cheap and light to make it a quest competitor :(

im pretty sure it'd just be a case of needing an extra head tracker for calibration, quest style !! or you do the figure 8 things to sync the playspaces together and live without continuous calibration

im pretty sure all of the quest headsets from the quest 2 have ir emitters, right?

so far though its been SO good for discovering common interests- especially with it being on the name plate !!
