I laughed a bit more at Life of Brian. I have been to Doune Castle and bought coconut shells in the gift shop. My favourite scene is the constitutional peasants.

I grew up in Coquitlam adjacent to Maillardville. I had classmates named Lemay, Dupuis and Croteau. Their parents were bilingual but they were anglophones. That was 50 yrs ago. I hope la langue de Molière is thriving there but I have doubts.
