The Open Social Web is for far more than just social media.

In this #FediForum demo, @riley.social shows AltStore, an alternative app store for iOS, and how it connects developers, apps, users and their feedback in new ways that open up so many possibilities.

FASPs are a new protocol by which Fediverse servers can delegate some of their functionality to other services. Sounds very geeky?

Here's James Smith showing what this looks like in practice, in his #FediForum demo of search for 3D model sharing app Manyfold.

Social media does not have to be on a public town square, or manipulate you.

Amazing keynote from @werd.io at last week's #FediForum, reminding us all that what we are building here is critical for the world at this moment in time, and also some good advice on how to solve right problems.
