The proof of that is, unless it's free to submit a startup, no one did. Website views did not skyrocketed and no one bought an add spot.

All of this to prove that, unless you have a stunning idea that solve a real problem, it's really hard to compete with big faces like Marc. I'm not saying you can't do it without an audience but the real pain is deliverability.
