I’m learning the art of becoming old, too. I decided not to change my too bright, almost knee socks with Bermuda shorts when I went to the store. Turns out the much younger cashier outdid me in the sock department. Carry on proudly!

I kind of think they’re waiting until after the mid-term elections to go for the urban blacks. They want martial law, and they will get it.

I can’t help but wonder if these ‘institutions’ are the for profit detention centers planned in so many states, a la Alligator Alcatraz. What else would they be considering?

If this is true, we’re all going to have incredibly bad customer service interactions every single call. And decreasing numbers of entry-level jobs means fewer and ill-qualified mid-level folks will be available to help right wrongs. Sigh.
