The whole Government buying Bitcoin thing is just a massive “pump and dump” scheme. Allowing big holders to cash in a profit while the government props up its value.

Criticise the ALP government - it's part of how you keep them accountable. But if you are mostly upset because they haven't done what YOU want on the issue YOU most care about, YOU perhaps need to take a step back. Government is about ALL OF US, it isn't about YOU

The extra energy Earth is now gaining EACH AND EVERY DAY is equivalent to 400 000 Hiroshima level nuclear bombs (Little Boy - 15 kilotons of TNT). The Earth is large, but it can only manage so much extra energy in the system before those systems are overwhelmed.

It must be hard when you one part of your brain saying "I really am this important", another part of your brain saying "this is utter horseshit", and a third part saying "please love me Dad".

When we lived in villages, we were ALL socialists. We mark Civilisation as when we started towns and cities...I want us to go back to villages.

The scenes coming out of Western North Carolina closely resemble what we saw with flooding in Lismore and Northern NSW in 2022. This is #climatechange #climatechaos and there are many more devastated communities to come.

The dental industy in Australia is rapacious, exploitative, and amoral. They mine the status anxiety of middle-class people for maximum profit. There are of course good dentists, but the industry overall is ethically repellent.
