That all being said, I am doing pretty alright overall, but moods like this do happen from time to time and I figure it’s probably normal given the circumstances.

Because expressing a want or need doesn’t seem to be getting me anywhere in any way that matters. “Wanting is for people who have a chance” I said recently to my friends, because wanting something means feeling like you will be pleased/happier after obtaining it. I had no such hope for myself.

Like, I don’t have the ability to choose when and on what I focus, which is a constant struggle all day every day. When this inevitably causes me to fail at something I really wanted to accomplish, it feels like trying to express a want for anything is pointless,

I personally have dealt a lot with it seeming like no chooces are both possible for me to make and actually meaningful. When I feel like this it’s usually because I’m deprived of the ability to make a meaningful choice and so all other choices feel completely pointless.

As a genz who was homeschooled much of my childhood I genuinely find it so strange that many of my peers were never taught phonics. From my understanding they were basically taught to go off of comparing new words to ones they already know? What was the goal in teaching that way?

This reminds me of how my introduction to furry art/my furry awakening started out of being a massive fnaf fan ^^;
