WIP Wednesday featuring Ferdinand being stupid <3 his heart is in the right place and we love him for it <3 it's nice to switch back to Ferdinand's POV after writing Lysithea for a while!!
prepare a hearty breakfast is one of them. In the month they've now lived together, Ferdinand has gotten very good (if you ask him) on preparing meals in the morning before Lysithea wakes up and tricking her into eating them with him. He's very clever about it, he always feigns having made too much to eat just by himself and insists that she helps him eat the extras as to not waste any food! She falls for it every single time, and Ferdinand can't help but feel smug about having tricked someone as smart as her. Even now, almost a month and a half after they'd started living together, she stills falls for the same tricks every morning.

Ferdinand is glaring at her, but she refuses to back down and crosses her arms across her chest.

her to slow down or being condescending! We can also see this reflected in their paralogue, where Ferdinand respects her expertise but also is able to play off of her well (shown in their pre quest dialogue where they're joking around about having tea/sweets together) this exchange is SO underrated

WIP Wednesday featuring one of my favorite bits from the Ferdilys fic I'm working on!
"I can make a vow on my magic that I'll do it. If a witch breaks a vow like that, they'll lose their magic forever," she says. There's no way she'll actually be stupid enough to make a vow on her magic over something like this, but if she intends to follow through anyways there's no harm in lying to him to get what she needs. That seems to be convincing enough to the knight, as he nods his head and turns back to fully face her. "Make a vow on your magic that you'll summon this witch for my princess, and that he shall cure her too," he demands, clearly thinking he has the upper hand. "If that's what it takes to make you stay so I can fix this, you have yourself a deal. I agree to your terms and vow on my magic," Lysithea lies. She has no idea what the curse even is, let alone if it's the kind Hubert can fix, but the Knight won't need to know anything about that til after he's long gone from her home. She'll make sure to bolster her magical defenses to exclude specifically him after he leaves, just to stay safe.
