Here's a blog post about some of the ridiculously long playlists I've been growing over the years.

The game’s afoot! 39 years after watching Young Sherlock Holmes at the cinema I finally saw it again at @fwfilmfestival.bsky.social and met Holmes himself, Nick Rowe, who it turns out is also from Edinburgh. Shame the planned trilogy never happened, but at least this mad adventure exists.

Watch the World Premiere of Arthur Cauty's The Big Picture on the opening night (28 May) of this year's Forbidden Worlds Film Festival.

Aliens was the first 18 certificate film I saw in the cinema back in the day, when it was first released, and still one of the very best.

Looking forward to seeing it again next week, on the big, big screen, now that I'm technically (just about) old enough to do so.
One week from today, @galeannehurd.bsky.social joins us in Bristol to talk about her incredible career (hosted by Women Vs Hollywood author and film journalist @helenlohara.bsky.social) followed by a screening of Aliens!

(Naturally, it's already sold out!)
