@noteworthy-ie.bsky.social shining an important spotlight on the challenges faced by families in visiting loved ones in prison. Children have a right to contact with their parents. This needs to be understood as their right and met effectively by the prison system.

It looks like the proposed amendment to Article 41 of the Irish Constitution, which refers to 'duties in the home' will be available shortly:
