But it is important we try so that as things change and move back down to community level there is something for all of us. We invite you, if you can, to donate to FDM as we continue to pursue this. If successful, we will provide you all with updates and what we have laid out.

We are getting ready to submit our plan to the people who can provide us with the capital to make it a reality. We believe neurodivergent people are the ones that get to dictate how our neurokin are. We don't know if we will be successful.

We have long believed the existing systems do not support neurodivergent people in ways that allow us self-determination. While the current administration enacts their policies, we believe that our community has the ability to create what we've fought for over the past 3 decades.

For many people, responding to the many crises has been a calling, but it is our belief our organization has a different responsibility. That is, finding ways to help support our community with new and better safety nets built by our community.

On July 26th, it'll be 35 years since the Americans with Disabilities Act was passed. But as erosions happen as the government is dismantled, it presents a moment where many are standing up for the rights of all. FDM has been watching, planning, and creating a way forward for us.

Join our board—Kassiane Asasumasu, Morénike Giwa-Onaiwu, Renae Martin, and @oglatimer.bsky.social—as they meander through the moments that shaped today’s Autistic community. Expect deep dives, infodumps, candid untold stories, and a heavy dose of chaos along the way.

3. Choose us as your charity on PayPal's Give at Checkout. Each time you use PayPal to pay you can donate $1 to FDM all year long.

4. Join our Learning Community ($5/mo) and Workgroups ($25/mo). Whether these groups are a way to gain support in learning how to implement neurodiversity practice.

1. Share our fundraising on several platforms. Boosting our request helps our campaign reach people who can support.

2. Buy our swag. Even if you cannot give, you can put our t-shirts on your holiday wish list for others to purchase and a portion will be donated to our organization.

We make our funds count by stretching every dollar we receive. We have a few ways you can support us this holiday season.
