Thanks for the interview Isaac. And one last thing. All of that stuff I said where I came off like a total piece of shit? That was off the record

Amorim still gotta go. This is only prolonging the inevitable

I’m less than 2 weeks away from having to submit a gargantuan brief and am pulling out my hair stressing over making this deadline. At the same time, in the back of my mind I know that the court is not actually going to read even the first 5 pages

Do not love when LinkedIn informs me that employees of the local district attorney’s office are viewing my profile every single week

What is to be ultimately made of these stories? Are DC grand jurors just seeing straight through these charges as political fodder and purposefully refusing to indict or has the DOJ just degraded into jaw dropping incompetence?
BREAKING: A grand jury has REJECTED charges against D.C. attorney Paul Bryant, a West Point grad accused of assaulting and threatening to kill National Guardsmen.

Easily the most serious charges to get no true billed so far during the federal surge.

Maybe I’ll just rededicate this account to purely screaming about criminal appellate law in New York. Nothing personal, just some screaming. Isn’t it fun how there are like 0 cases in NY state that discuss whether a prosecutor’s disclosure obligations extends past conviction to sentencing

I have been really bad about using this site but I have just been credibly informed that most of the criminal appeals lawyers from Twitter moved over here and I need to make some appeals friends to shit-talk with

Rabbi Chanina Sperlin, a powerful player in NYC politics, was ordered to appear at Carl Miller's hearing this week, where his testimony is considered vital to overturning Miller's murder conviction. But the rabbi never showed up. Now, he could be held in contempt of court, fined or even arrested.
A Powerful Rabbi Could Help Carl Miller Clear His Name. But He Refuses to Show Up to Court.
Rabbi Chanina Sperlin saw a different man running from the scene of the murder in 1979, but he won't come to court to tell a judge that now.

Woof what an unforced error by Matheus for City there. That one has to be on Guardiola right? Why is he even playing that position

Need to recreate on Bluesky the same aspects that kept me at Twitter for 14 years:

1. Funny nonsense
2. Meaningful exchange and dialogue around social and political issues
3. Opportunity for legitimate education and insight from established people in the legal field

United still look totally discombobulated, but the upside to this match is that it’s a great opportunity for Ruben Amorim to
diagnose the issue and excise the problem

Not enough pain in my life so I follow Manchester United to make up for it

I am in the process of creating a social media app called 2bluesky or blue2sky (haven’t solidified the name yet) in the event this site is shut down. I expect it to also be valued around 500M-$1B (probably $1B). Tender offers will be considered. I am also working on blue3sky

What this app really needs to take off is a semi anonymous menswear expert who wittily insults every dumb person who has a collar gap when they wear a suit

I’m glad to see there are active users here. Not sure if this place will scratch my itch like Twitter used to, but honestly, at this point I am willing to try absolutely anything that constitutes taking something away from Elon Musk. Even in the tiniest amount. It makes me happy

Woof my old posts here are all from back when I was taking the bar exam lol. Heavy stuff

This is going to come as an immense shock to the people that know me, but I’m actually getting very tired of studying for the uniform bar examination
