The @britishlibrary.bsky.social 1797 copy of The Columbian Orator, a book of seminal importance to Frederick Douglass, is fragile, as Douglass’s must have been. Given his later views on phrenology it seems apt that the dialogue on physiognomy is annotated x 3 with « Fred ». @fd-scotland.bsky.social
